Today is National Poetry Day! Poetry may seem daunting to some, but Line by Line aims to break down that barrier and invite any Bard to take a seat at the cozy cafe table to play with whimsical words, gorgeous images, and intriguing poetic devices. Check it out at www.backerkit.com/c/projects/c....
Words in the center and top of the graphic read Happy National Poetry Day from Line by Line. The words Line by Line are green and written in a looping stylized font. Next to these words is the mascot Quill, a small human figure in an oversized teal robe holding a scarlet quill as tall as they are. The background is a cozy tavern space.

We had a BLAST at RPG Night on Wednesday! Thank you to everyone who joined us from various RSOs on campus and CMU's own actual play show, Dungeons and Dormrats! Thanks also to our GMs, Gabby and Andrew, for creating an awesome experience for everyone. See you for our next event on September 25th!

One person with a long brown braid sits with their back to the camera. To their left are two people leaning on the table and smiling. To their left is a person sitting back. On the table are phones, pieces of paper, and pencils.Three people are sitting at a table. a digital painting of ELRIC, Michael Moorcock's most famous character, and albino prince who pulls power from his runesword Stormbringer. here he swoops down into a morass of writhing chaotic life and flesh. his cape billows behind him and a lilac sheen bounces off his gothic armour. the armour is (by fantasy standards) adorned with decorations evoking dragons. the lining of his cape is blood red.

It’s something BK is experimenting with. Think the theory is the community event draws eyes to many related projects. We (CMich Press) participated in the Xmas event and got 15 or so orders out of it. But yes, not really crowdfunding. Xmas must have worked for BK to see them try it again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is a sale but thru Backerkit. They (Backerkit) did this at Xmas too. The intent, I think, is to lean into the themed launch events that have become the bread and butter for BK.
