I pledged a fraternity (ultimately left, but not because of anything "bad"), several of my close friends were in frats, my little brother was a fucking KA. I endured plenty of hazing. They got hazed. From my POV, the hazing wasn't any worse than what we got in Scouts, sports teams, etc.
