Had a good long life but when they pass they take part of us with them, why we're never the same after & want them with us more. I'm not looking forward to the times I have to say goodbye to my girls who I was there at birth of them all. Was bad enough when I did to my previous 4.

A younger Skip my dog on the sofa, not quite liking the attention he's getting from Smokey & Tinks who were giving to him as they loved him so much.

Skip sharing the sofa with Ellie, a magical moment as she used to be a feral rescue. But soon learnt life is good here & partially mellowed.

I've never struggled to believe reports of bad behavior by cops because even in my very limited interactions with them in my life, they've often been remarkably unprofessional, rude, and threatening. Just suggested one shouldn't block the only accessible sidewalk and he called me a p*ssy and more.

A cop who makes at least $270,000 a year gets out of his car to harass and insult me for daring to think he shouldn't be parked here blocking the sidewalk

Cases like this are why the UK needs effective legislation against SLAPPs - cases filed by rich individuals or firms to intimidate, silence or bankrupt media, thinktanks & others who publicise things they would rather hide. The courts shd punish law firms who knowingly enable such cases.

After 5yrs of daily use, I felt it's time to replace the scratch posts on the climbing frame. Picked up one tonight on a click & collect order & will get another after payday. Then I'll look at renovating the old ones too.

New 90cm tall scratch post next to the worn out one that's attached to the climbing frame.

Was drier going home so waterproofs went back into the panniers & enjoyed the cool autumn weather to help cool me down. Had a click & collect so panniers were full, front rack was full & large box strapped to the front rack & enjoyed the ride home listening to Planet Rock.

Been getting busier with people doing Christmas shopping, so has been knackering & properly resting up on my rest days. Weather can't make it's mind up to be rain or shine, not that it matters as been enjoying cycling to/from work. Now rest for the w/e & do lil chores & plan my week off next w/e. 😁

My manager was complaining it took them 2 1/2 hours to get to work & thus late arriving to the store. Admittedly he does come from further out, tho could use the train. Me, took me same amount of time cycling in the rain, around queues of those 4 wheeled raincoats & nice & dry in my waterproofs. 😏😉😂

Forgiving infrastructure assumes people make mistakes. A person on a bike who loses their balance and falls shouldn't pay for it with their life just because there was no buffer between them and a vehicle 100 times their weight.
