Yay Ash!!! I went to a 5th birthday party! It was fun. We saw a double rainbow and a heron in a tree. And the birthday boy had the most OTT reaction to a giant pseudo-Duplo set.

I ran a very successful joint 50th Taskmaster birthday party on the weekend. I’ve been planning this since January - okay I’ve been planning this for about nine years actually. But it was amazing and super fun and I’m pretty sure everybody enjoyed themselves!

I have made it through 364 and 3/4 days of being 50. I am two hours short of completing my teaching hours for reformer (but still have a few observation hours to catch up). I am nearly halfway through the hours for mat work. Apparently a lot of people in my neighbourhood are keen to give it a try.

Dads’ preferred rest home has one room available, which happens to be next door to the room Mum was in, which made him feel a good emotional connection AND they’ve said we can take Rufus & Lily in to visit him as they are big on animal therapy 🐶 🐶

Picked up the EV we bought on the weekend today. Almost a fossil-free zone at our place now. And my guy also sold the petrol car today for a good bit more than the dealer offered for a trade-in. 🙂 Congratulations to Ash, that is a huge achievement!

Today begins however long it takes to sell the house left by my wife's father after he passed. It's a win (as is finishing the process with the Public Trust!) and I'm grateful to get this opportunity for another day on planet earth.
