I didn't get to hear more than halfway through the Kingmaker debate, but it was frustrating having the questions consistently framed as slash vs add to debt. Working people pay tax. If a party perpetually slashes away at employment, they slash away at the tax base. Get people earning is the solution

I've heard musing about TOP recently and my three takes: 1) Who's putting all of that money in; who's paying the piper 2) The UBI sounds great until you realise that it's lower than current benefits; UBI=cuts. 3) We have no idea what TOP values are; if they can go either way the answer may be none

At the last election I voted, for the first time ever, for the National candidate. Firstly, I don’t recall our Labour MP ever visiting our fairly sizeable suburb. And more importantly our National candidate seemed much less horrific than some that were low enough on the list to be within range

We had an ambulance trip to the hospital in the ambo overload weekend, and I wonder how many others reflect stresses on GPs -> a problem that could possibly have been sorted taking a hospital bed and a long spell parked up in A&E
