Climbed into bed half an hour ago but made the mistake of sitting up to set my alarm. Smol dog lept in my lap, sighed the most contented sigh, and promptly feel asleep while I clicked on 7:15am. Yes of course I’m still sitting up. How dare I move and try to sleep while she’s comfy in dreamland.

REMINDER: Its September 2026, Under Labour we would have had both Cook Strait ferries by now. Luxons replacement ferries wont be here till 2029, have less capacity for people and cars, and including Nicolas cancellation fee, will only be approx 470m cheaper.

My recent leg injury is making everything harder than ever to do, so to avoid pain flare, I succumb to click n collects, three all within one street distance of each other, roughly same pick up time, dogs weren’t left in the car for long, and now I have a gift for my friend who’s mourning a loss.

Strange. I just changed my voicemail greeting using the iphone app. Now I don’t tend to get a lot of phone calls. But within a minute, a call from an unknown NZ number, with what sounded like a bum dial, man’s voice, which feels like a scam to make me call back. Hooeeeewww
