Apparently you just can't search YouTube for videos anymore. Overnight, I now only get search results for Shorts and there is nothing I have found that allows me to just search for videos only. Any filters/search options for just "videos" returns null results 😮‍💨 Hoping this is just a hiccup...

Very very excited to see the new Kirby game seems to be built off the bones of Forgotten Land!!!! We love reusing our finely tuned tools to make more new, fun things! Not a fan of the weird human-like characters they keep plugging in these games, but I am very hyped otherwise.

Getting funding for a game is difficult. Getting Kickstarter backing seems impossible because of wildly skewed expectations. Let me explain... So, for Eldritch 2, I'd be working alone. I'd ask for the lower end of my usual contract rate × the number of months I expect it'll take to finish the game.

I keep seeing people thinking this is a bluesky problem. If you're seeing this it thinks you're in a state or country with age verification laws. This is what every social media site will do if KOSA and the KIDS Act succeeds. Running to another socmed won't fix it, we have to fight the source.

It was already hard enough to call contractors and actually get a hold of someone to help with home stuff, but now so many companies are setting up AI chat bots to answer your contact emails/phone calls/texts and it's just so much worse. It's like an oasis in the desert talking to a human anymore.
