On May 10, 1987, the Japanese TV show PC Sunday (パソコンサンデー) featured two robots at Namco’s headquarters. Uketsuke Komachi was the front-desk receptionist and Kyūji-kun, a smaller robot that served tea to visitors. Both robots were featured in the Namco Museum series and Marvel Land.

Straight up I do not know where the work is. What do you do besides put your stuff out there and hope someone reaches out from the void? Indie space where it's all social is one thing, but incorporated studios are an opaque black void. We had amazing staff composers at Bungie and it showed!

I wanna write (read: read) a book that uses the "multiple playthroughs with subtle divergent details and wildly different endings" thing that video games do. You read the same novel four or five times but it's a little weirder in surprising ways with each successive iteration.

It really doesn't make sense to attribute those job losses to AI-the-technology, because if that were the case we'd be observing AI outputs displacing conventional entertainment products, and they're clearly not. Rather, the impact of AI is that AI-the-business is crowding out other investment.
