Not gonna lie it's kind of hell on earth to me that YouTube gaming channels that are specifically aimed at children have not let up on playing games and mods that feature adult content. Play something else. Don't edit around the 18+ NSFW to "get ahead" in the children's entertainment sphere online.

I find it funny when people talk about how games are this art form that can make you feel emotions, but then you bring up something like wanting more games to have timers & people will say its bad design "because it makes me anxious" So emotions only allowed through story, not gameplay. Shoutout to the tunnel vision game dev gives you. Made a whole checkout system where the NPC brings their items up, I scan it, give them their money, and they leave. Real proud of it. Then I got asked when they give me money. I was paying them to buy things from the store. I'm so good at this.

I wonder if you could gamify literacy. Like, not the superficial 'gamification' that you see everywhere, where you add points and loot boxes that don't mean anything to a thing you're doing, but like... making a game out of the actual practices that are part of literacy.
