Anyway, I think Hotel Architect is really good. If you're a fan of cartoony management games with more depth than their aesthetic would suggest, then give it a try. It has a demo on Steam if you want to give it a go before buying. I'm looking forward to next Thursday and learning about the 1st DLC.

1. Spend your two upgrade points on speedy builders one. 2. Start tagging expensive but unnecessary items for removal. 3. Sack the two or three staff with bad traits. Reduce everyone else's salary to what they'd expect. Replace sacked staff with better candidates.

Something I learned the other day is that the 6yo clearly considers "Bro" to be a gender neutral term. Outside a supermarket the other day we saw a girl (with face paint) who'd been to the same birthday party we'd just been to and he cracks out "She was just at the party. Bro looks like a cheetah".

Planning on starting on Monday so that I can do 3 full days before checking my INR to make sure it doesn't go off the rails. 3 days is normally when stuff gets reflected (missed doses or new meds) in my INR.

Facial bones fractures are categorised into 3 main types, known as the Le Fort Classification system. Rene Le Fort was a French Army doctor and orthopaedic surgeon who decided one day to finally answer the question "What if I hit these corpses in the face with a stick"?

When I was a kid, other kids, teachers & other kid's parents identified that I was "weird." But kids are weird & I was maybe just a bit weirder than most. As an adult, a few neurodivergent people suggested to me that I might be neurodivergent or explicitly that I might have ADHD. I laughed it off. 🧵

Watching videos of Pokepark Kanto that opened in Japan and Platonic Partner is annoyed at how much of a lazy cash grab it seems to be. I'm trying to impress upon her that that's the Pokémon company's MO at this point. The main reason Pokopia was good was because it was outsourced.
