Had an absolute blast at Menhirs playing Kaliban Cloudchaser. We faced the horrors of war at this one, faced them and answered with 'reckon I can make that jump' Together we threw everything we had into saving the Wonders sacred tree and even had chance for Urdrevan Deathspeaker spooks on the side.

Empire - Event Four The Imperial year ended with a little meddlers guilt, Gralka is due quite the bumpy time but also I learnt more about the League in a single event than I had for years. My Paranoia #ttrpg story. Hot Summer afternoon, Send In The Clones 1-Shot. Made a C30 singing Send In The Clones badly in a warbly voice, interspersed with terrible DJ "banter", representing the rogue radio broadcast. Played the tape for 4 hours solid until players wept openly. Good times

The "Back In My Day" Simpsons meme that usually shows Grampa regaling Springfield's younger residents, (who are all sat at his feet in a semi-circle), with tales of how things used to be. Grampa is now Captain McCallister, the kids are still the kids, but the daytime and rolling green hills have been replaced with a beach under starry skies. The wording at the top reads "JOHN CARPENTER'S THE FOG". I was going to replace the drink in the captain's hand with a pocket watch, but couldn't be arsed, so feel free to imagine it for yourselves.

For various reasons I would again like to thank @rossignol.bsky.social and @marshdavies.bsky.social for the SHARK playbook for GOLD TEETH #ttrpg. I had not spotted this particular bit of the character sheet until I was skimming it with my tea and had a bit of a chuckle.

Confession: I binged GHOSTS AUSTRALIA and I... I enjoyed it. The comedy had a bit more edge that GHOSTS CLASSIC, which I mostly enjoy because of its wholesomeness, but was none the worse for it. I would watch a second series, which was very much not the outcome of watching GHOSTS US. 1/2
