I think a big problem is that players (and designers) look at the generic “do something” moves and think, “Oh this move does everything I need!” And, like, no they don’t. Your PBTA game needs specificity. Those generic moves should be used rarely and only in situations where the stakes are obvious.

Its National Comic Book Day, drop a pic of the first comic you remember reading! I wish I could actually remember! I got my start in the late 80s/early 90s buying those 3 or 4 pack bundles before graduating to having a pull list at the local comic shop. It was almost certainly Batman though.
