Like, we don’t need to invest in it, or use it. We don’t need a coke-fueled Clippy hallucinating summaries of our documents. We don’t need an incompetent robot suggesting ways to “improve” our art projects. None of this is necessary. But universities have bought in because they’re cash-starved.

This isn’t just a “they’re coming for all of us” scenario—though they are. It’s a call to move past whatever subtle discomfort you have with queer and trans spaces, because they aren’t gay enough for you. Soon, there won’t be any spaces left, so protect them now.

#TheBeauty TV show started off strong but went downhill as soon as Rebecca Hall got infected. Also the “beautified” version of her is played by an actress who’s not nearly as gorgeous as Rebecca. I know beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, but I don’t know that casting did a good job there.

For the first time since I started volunteering at my local floral conservatory, I’ve brought a plant home to try and rehabilitate. I have a soft spot for cyclamens and this one has a healthy tuber so fingers crossed.
