Most of the buddleia bushes around here have turned brown by now, but there's a small area where it was pruned very heavily a couple of months ago & just started flowering again not that long ago, so several butterflies were hanging around there cause it was still a viable source of food.

The house looks dark and forbidding, it’s not inviting like say…Centreparks, I don’t think it has a fun water slide out the back. Rays of sunlight illuminates the roof of the house and reflect on the damp track, the sky is heavy with chunky clouds.

A classic #WildWebsWednesday at this time of year - an Ivy Bee foraging on an Ivy flower in the pub car park in Kenley where we had lunch yesterday. This was after a very interesting tour of the airfield led by volunteers from the Kenley Revival Project.
