Went to visit one of my uncles a few years ago. We had beers and laughed. Then he got very quiet. He told me about his experience going to Normandy in WW2. He spent a year there. We are not the same people anymore. We do nothing to help anyone. Kinda fucked up if you ask me.

During my service of our Empire in the Marines, I spent a chunk of time in Israel. Seeing how Netanyahu and his prior cronies treated Palestinians then changed my entire opinion about the cause of unrest in the region. It was shocking then and even more shocking that it continues unabated.
