Yeah this also only encourages poor behaviour towards cyclists too. Lady called me a bad name out her car window-only reason I could figure as to why is she really doesn't like bikes? Maybe feeling a tad emboldened to spew some hate?

I work in healthcare and it bothers me that the unis are ok with AI, and the students who are not strong writers/communicators are relying on it. I don't let my students use it when I'm preceptoring, we need to work on things that are difficult to get better at them! That's what training is for!

When I step into Alberta classrooms and see immigrant and refugee children excited to learn, and teachers inspired to teach, I see my mother’s mischievous grin and feel her fierce curiosity. May Albertans never lose the compassion and common sense that makes public education a public good.

Yes, I've been jealous of friends with low cost postsecondary options in Germany, but they were placed in that track at age 10. If they don't think you're suited for uni by that age, the hurdles are pretty big after that. Pros and cons to all systems.

By using the notwithstanding clause pre-emptively - which, again, they *can* but *need not* do - the UCP is not simply admitting that their laws are breaching Charter rights and bypassing the courts. They are further admitting that their laws cannot be justified in a free and democratic society.

Under the Canada Health Act, every Canadian deserves equal access to care no matter where they live, or how badly their provincial gov’t ignores science, health guidelines & their citizens.
