I'm sure the NDP thinks "ooh scary vote fraud" will play well in the media, they are completely missing the fact that this legislation prevents them from doing effective GOTV (no scrutineer sequence nos.) and turning people out, in a vote that we've been constantly told will come down to turnout.

That’s nothing. The original postmedia article quoted him as saying “The premier has said in the legislation that if this were to be voted down, that the question cannot be entertained again for another five years or so. So at least that creates that five-year certainty.” Which is completely false

Alberta separatists might look haphazard and kooky, but they have a path to turn a 20% issue into a real threat. 1 - Normalize separatism so it no longer feels toxic. 2 - Tie it to every grievance. 3 - Find a political dance partner. The U.S.A. They are now pushing all 3 at once.
