Have you ever wondered what York looks like from a hot air balloon? Well we can tell you - it looks *chefs kiss*
We are looking at a view of York from the air - lots of tiled roofs surround the gothic stone masterpiece of York Minster. In the distance the city is replaced with open patchwork fields and the Howardian hills in the distance.

a popular myth is that people who are Very Computer have computers that work. nothing could be further from the truth. the Very Computer are capable of generating much more novel and fascinating ways to make computers not fucking work and exercise this capability wantonly

A man in a face covering talks to another man who is looking disappointedly at a small box he is holding. Man 1 “What's that?”. Man 2 “Baklava. I misread the WhatsApp”

Latest figures for BN(O) visas - the numbers a dying down quickly, but the next phase is HKers applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (equivalent-ish to HKPR). If the government doesn't manage to make it near-impossible to qualify first...

I wouldn't call myself a cartoonist, but I had the vision and just needed it to be on paper to the best of my ability.
A hand drawn eight panel cartoon. First two panels are a colander sitting frowning on a shelf. Then the colander is frowning straining pasta, then three more panels of frowning sitting on a shelf. Then a big panel where it's projecting a bunch of crescent eclipse shapes and smiling with speech bubbles around saying "Wow! Look! Amazing! Beautiful!" And then one final panel where it's sitting on a shelf smiling.

Grabbed a cheese and Marmite sandwich from M&S this evening - my (non-British) partner asked what it was, and when I told her she said "Oh, like Paddington?" I had to go into the kitchen and fetch a jar of Marmite and a jar of marmalade so I could show her the difference 😁

In 2026 Ukraine is having trouble shipping grain through the Black Sea because of war... In 340 BC "Athens [was] fearful [for] her vital supply of grain via the Black Sea (from the Danube basin, eastern Crimea and the Azov coasts)" from Istanbul: A Tale of 3 Cities. Sometimes, history does repeat.
