Mastodon post from Jake Wharton:

As of today, the Lysine projects (OkHttp, Okio, Retrofit, and the SQL Delight family) have a contribution policy that forbids LLM usage for creating code and for PR/issue descriptions and comments.
There is an exception for translation assistance provided you disclose its use.
If you choose to use LLMs locally for research, analysis, and/or experimentation we can't stop you. But for contributing we require you to write the code, and for our interactions to be with you.

My faves remain Yasnic and all the grumpy bastards in the healing cult. I can't believe I have to wait till 2027!!

Post on r/AskHistorians which asks: The Horse Armor DLC for TES 4:Oblivion is often cited as the first popular DLC and Microtransaction that set the video game industry down it's patb to where it is today. Is this accurate, and how was the Horse Armor DLC received at the time?

Yes, Swiss scientist Fritz Zwicky coined the term “dark matter” which is impressive, but he also coined the term “spherical bastard” to describe people who are bastards no matter which way you look at them, and I think that should be celebrated more.

We are looking at a painting of St Liphardus - a 6th-century lawyer, hermit and abbot in Meung-sur-Loire near Orléans, France. He is wearing bishops clothing including a surplus and mitre and is holding a crook. On a lead is a small knee high green and blue dragon.
