#Aviation is my religion. Here I am in touch with a higher power known as Lycoming.

Flying in a Piper Arrow over Algonac, Michigan. The Saint Clair River below is deep blue. The town looks bustling from afar. The skiy is clear with a bit of high wispy cirrus clouds. Visibility to the horizon is pretty darn clear. The white wing of the aircraft appears in the bottom right of the picture. We flew over the US, but since our flight was from Canadian airport to Canadian airport, we never actually entered the US.

I had the opportunity to fly into Ottawa International Airport yesterday to attend the Gatineau Airshow. They showcased the next generation of the Canadian Snowbirds. Those Siskins are going to be incredible! What an agile bird with a delightful noise attitude. I’m so excited! #avgeek #aviation

I rarely get angry, but today I am seething. As a former Royal Canadian Air Cadet, I owe so much of my growth to this program. Bullying and body-shaming teenage women isn't leadership. It's cowardly and despicable. Cadets Canada builds young people up. There is no room for this kind of malice.

I’m revisiting the masterpiece of a video gaming known as Mass Effect 1. I jumped into the Sol system. Pluto makes an appearance. It lost its planet status about 15 months prior to the release of the game, so BioWare was very careful with their phrasing on the data sheet.

I, as a pilot, might shock people by saying “this could be good.” Hiring 2K trainees with potentially overlapping skills is a solid tactic. The US is dangerously low on controllers. Most of the trainees will never certify, but it’s a step towards filling a gap that has contributed to recent deaths.
