Also Strixhaven uses mascots as the capture-the-flag flag in their Legally Distinct Wizard Game. That strikes me as both 1) supremely undignified for the ancient statue guy and 2) unfair for the team who has to carry an approximately human-sized pile of rocks instead of a somewhat large bug

So, Portland airport has a free theater that plays local student short films and the other day I sat in on a few and there was one that was really impressive. And I wanted to share it bc like, yeah it's clearly a student film but tbh this kid who directed it is really advanced for a high schooler.
