im obsessed with this game. my session of it at gen con was UNBELIEVABLY cool, i played a horrible sexy little god of life and death named Redberry. i got to do cool ability combos while roleplaying huge, surreal scenes. Take the role of a Child of Heaven, one of seven divine beings dreamed into existence by Mother. A game of The Firmament changes based on which Children are in play: different parts of the world are revealed, and the rules respond (sometimes in pretty major ways)

Yesterday was session zero for a brindlewood hack my friend is running where you play as a group of ghosts in the bureaucratic afterlife attempting to find the serial killer that murdered you & I'm very very excited

Those esoteric playbooks in the 2nd image are from The Firmament and are my favorite mementos of this year. As a player, it was the absolute highlight of my trip. I still cant stop thinking about the two sessions I played. @foresightstudio.bsky.social is making a game unlike any other.
