People do have "legitimate concerns" about things like housing, rising cost of living, NHS waiting lists etc. That's absolutely fair. Despite political and media rhetoric, absolutely none of those concerns are solved by attacking asylum seekers and other migrants. 1/

Autism acceptance isn't about pretending everything is fine if it isn't. It means understanding why autistic people do things, not blaming them (or your autistic self) when it's hard, or when you have competing needs. Ideally, it also means cherishing joy harder. (So much harder.) #neurodiversity

TEENY TINY TOAD ALERT!!!!! It was so small I thought it was a little jumping spider. But I was right next to the creek where the toads mate so I looked more carefully. I can not believe I actually got a decent photo. It was less than a centimeter from nose to butt & ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! #herps 🌿

The EHRC code of practice frames appearance based gendered assumptions i.e. assumptions around what are masculine and feminine traits at the centre of how you determine biological sex. It's not just that the code is segregationist and harmful to trans people. It is also hideously patriarchal.

Not a big fan of people saying a story isn't getting enough coverage. Normally it turns out it is, just not in a specific outlet, or manner they think it should.
