This will be one of the most important immigration cases in a generation. The Trump admin claims that a 1996 law mandates the detention of millions of people without any right to a bond hearing; every person who entered illegally, no matter how long in the past. If they win, it's a nightmare.

Okay, I've been using Astepro for a few years now after seeing an ENT. It's been so much more effective and I breath like a normal human 95% of the time. I recommend it to people all the time. I had also noticed that I wasn't getting sick as much. This is fascinating.

So-called AI detection tools might be an even bigger scurge than AI. I was talking today with a student (a senior), who shared that they now have to spend time "dumbing down" their papers--shortening sentences, removing advanced vocab and punctuation--because otherwise they get flagged as "AI."

It is not the healthcare professional's job to detain people. We are not law enforcement. We are mandatory reporters of abuse and have strict rules about restraints, but not required to tackle someone to stop them from leaving AMA (against medical advice). The door is over there.
