Wages are at all-time lows, and profits at historic highs, as a percent of GDP. The backlash against A.I. is a backlash against unchecked inequality. My @nytopinion.nytimes.com Chart:

Durchs überwiegend dunkle Podil nach Hause hier in Kyjiw zurückzukehren und in einem stromlosem Geschäft einzukaufen. Das habe ich überhaupt nicht vermisst, ist aber jetzt auch alles anderes überraschend. Es kommen nun schwere Monate, doch all das haben wir schon mehrfach erlebt.

That's it. Game theory and past experience tell us clearly how to react to and deter provocations from an aggressor. Now lets act and not just talk.

Two people were killed in a Russian strike on a school in Sumy‼️ 6 people were injured, including 3 children. The attack was carried out with 4 aerial bombs. Terrorist country keeps killing Ukrainians including children, and striking civilian targets. We need air defense!

Russia will only stop these war crimes if they have higher costs than benefits. Europe should therefore confiscate the Russian assets and transfer for each such war crime say 2bn EUR to Ukraine to strengthen its ability to defend itself.

Bravo. The most effective reaction to a Russian provocation is to immediately send a new defence package to Ukraine. Such packages have costs for Russia larger than the benefits from the hybrid provocation. Paying such deterrence packages from frozen Russian assets would be even more effective.
