I've been watching Star Trek: The Next Generation properly for the first time, from the absolute beginning of season 1. So for it's been charmingly mediocre to charmingly bad, but then suddenly after 30 episodes they do Measure Of A Man which is actually properly GOOD sci-fi, just out of nowhere!

I am coming up to 20 years working professionally in the games industry. I'm lucky to have made it this far really, but I wonder in the current climate how many years I realistically have left before the axe falls for good? I hope some of these skills are transferable!
