There aren't enough ways to say that I love Fire Emblem and all I wanna do is talk about Fire Emblem

This song pops into my head surprisingly often. I love the awkward way they shoehorn in this reference to Bowie's Andy Warhol

You're a work of pop art
Wanna hang you on the wall
You're funky dory, baby
Baby, that's all

I loved The Surfer! Highly recommended for anyone who likes films set in one location about big idiots getting their lives ruined

Great album, I never forgot!

I love how in the Fire Emblem universe, everyone is either 19 or 500

It's funny, on one hand Fortune's Weave is intimidatingly huge with its four character paths, but knowing that there were originally gonna be eight, and knowing which characters the other four were, really leaves me wishing I could play through their stories. Anatolia in particular is cool as hell

No interesting art accompanies an Instagram or Facebook post that contains the phrase "this artist"

Had to cut a couple truly beloved games for this list to work, including Sonic Adventure, GTA San Andreas, and Left 4 Dead, but I think this is a pretty good spread of everything I've ever loved. I probably think about each of these at least once a week

1. Bomb Jack
2. Sonic the Hedgehog
3. Civilization II
4. PaRappa the Rapper
5. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
6. Bayonetta
7. Dark Souls
8. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
9. Hollow Knight: Silksong

Something I miss from Three Houses with regards to Fortune's Weave is all the dank memes and Vine compilations

Fortune's Weave should have an accessibility option where you can change Cai's battle music to literally anything else

Cannot stress enough. So far I've played Leda up to chapter six, then swapped to Dietrich until chapter six, and am now on chapter five of Cai's path, and they're all so great

🧵Thread from one of the original reporters of the WSJ investigation here, again reiterating that their work was never corrected or altered, despite Kotick/Clare Locke pressuring other outlets to consider it "debunked".

Is this fucking kid gonna be eating berries every time he talks throughout the whole game?

Peter from Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave smugly eating berries while he chats shit

In recent years, the media has quietly begun to change the way in which it writes about Bobby Kotick, the former CEO of Activision Blizzard. PMG investigates how Kotick used the threat of defamation to reshape his legacy in the games business, one article at a time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKwp...

One web game that feels very ahead of its time and one that I'm amazed isn't more well known or highly regarded is Transformice. A huge multiplayer online flash game that's basically Lemmings if everyone controlled a different lemming, with only one having the power to place stuff down

A bugbear I have with a lot of JRPGs and Fortune's Weave is no exception - I want to auto-advance dialogue that is voice acted and not auto-advance dialogue that isn't, but it feels like you can always only ever auto-advance all of it or none of it, and so you constantly need to turn it off and on

Hard to say if I like Resident Evil (2026) more than Resident Evil (2002). They feel about even to me, both really fun and both take the same number of creative liberties with the game

I'd love to know *when* this was, feels like there's several times where it could have happened but my guess is after Sonic Unleashed

100

I love how everyone in Fortune's Weave that meets Dietrich is obsessed with how hot he is

Thomas @godribbon.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Love the absolutely psychotic energy of killing a deer with a bow and arrow and then telling its corpse "I don't forgive you"
