As pretty much everyone has been saying, it strains credulity to suggest that the rulebreaking simply stopped in 2018. That's simply when the 115 charges investigation ended.

Hard to devise a better metaphor for the past decade and a half of Premier League football than Man City winning while playing with an extra man.

Thanks to an Enzo offside winner, and Liverpools best defensive player being sent off for nothing. Says more about the Premier League than Man City really...the cheats keep cheating

— Enzo offside for winner, unanimously ruled error by KMI — Bruno G denied pen (+ Maatsen second yellow), unanimously ruled error by KMI — Phantom pen against Konsa, unanimously ruled error by KMI — Gravenberch sent off for two soft yellows, 0:0 becomes 3:0 It's a lot so early in the season.

So the Man City, whose owners brazenly broke all financing rules, and flys refs out for lucrative second jobs in Abu Dhabi have been bailed out of their two toughest games this season (Utd, Liverpool) by really dodgy decisions.

Exactly this... Just didn't think (somewhat naively) that the rest of the English football ecosystem (refs, Sky, etc...) would enable them quite so much

Get the feeling that City are just really gonna lean into this "cheaters" tagline, become even more dirty, snarky, belligerent on the pitch. Kinda like a cheaty version of Wimbledon's Crazy gang leaning into a brand of being 'rough' which helped them get away with it

Tbf they've been very good at professional fouling whenever we start a dangerous break. Hopefully with a few yellows they'll find that harder in the second half

Case in point: Haaland’s 2022 signing. After the charges, strangely low transfer fee & incredibly opaque arrangements on wages and agents fees etc. Norway has a lot of transparency re: income, but Haaland’s reps (including Dad Alfie) ‘coincidentally’ moved to Switzerland when the deal was happening.

I was told off twice. For trying to push my box through early, and offering to help the old lady next to me to lift her bag. Seems synchronicity is what's prized here. Starting to worry I accidentally took LSD this morning, or God is inspiring me to write a short story on a backdoors airport world

I finally get to the front of the queue, the giant security guard stops scolding people for trying to skip barriers to allow a group of us to pass. We must line up, approach the bench, load our things into boxes, and push them onto the belt at the same time. Like a little school class of 5.

After going through a series of tubes with spongy travelators, circular paths and random tunnels, I have reached what appears to be a security line. So I queue... Accompanied by a constant alarm that sounds like a wailing elephant and watching a security guard who must be 7ft+ stalk around.

Remigration is genocide. Remigration is genocide. I am repeating this because the AfD will not and because genocide is *exactly* what they are offering at the ballot box. Think about it. How else can you reduce the population of Germany from 80 million to 60 million - as one of the AfD’s senior members, Dennis Hohloch, said this summer - when a large number of those millions don’t want to go, even after you try to deport them? You threaten them, you physically harm them, you kill them in huge numbers to encourage others to flee. That’s it. That’s it. People will believe the most outlandish claims about what the Left want but they will ignore what the AfD are •actually saying*.

I would love to ask a prominent BBC journalist to give me an example of an illegitimate concern. Is seems to me that it has become a question not of fact, logic, or ethics but of volume. If a big enough proportion of a village was anxious about Bigfoot or Chemtrails, BBC would cover it in a way...
