Cover feature in Science Signaling: The Kathleen Caron Lab identified MYO6 as a regulator of signaling in lymphatic cells, revealing a previously unknown mechanism controlling lymphatic endothelial cell signaling and behavior. doi.org/10.1126/scis... @science.org #Lymphatics #GPCR #UNCResearch
A published cover image in Science Signaling featuring a study by Serafin et al. The study shows that the motor protein MYO6 associates with a complex containing the protein RAMP3 and the G protein–coupled receptor CLR, which together function as a receptor for the peptide adrenomedullin (AM). MYO6 facilitated the internalization and endosomal signaling of RAMP3-CLR in response to AM in human lymphatic endothelial cells. The image is a light micrograph of a lymph vessel.
