When your command is challenged by an upstart officer who has risen from the ranks

X: "That's an interesting perspective. Perhaps I will think about it."

X: "Do you see another way to accomplish this task that I do not? Please, present it."
Y: "We'll see what Horse Guards has to say about this!"

X: "I may have an advantage in experience, but new perspectives are always welcomed."
