I've been having a pretty rough week, but then I got an email that turned my 'everything is kinda falling apart' anxiety into 'everything could suddenly become incredible so long as I don't mess this up' anxiety. Not happy with the constant chest tightness, but It'll be worth it if this pans out.

Discovered the modpack that tries to smooth out Ghost Master's edges and add some new characters, and man... It's reminded me that I really DO enjoy the wacky pseudo-strategy horror pastiche of that extremely flawed game. AI and pathing still suck, but my mourning for the 'remaster' is renewed.

For two weeks, arena folks have been getting *daily* anti-union emails from the company fearmongering about how scary unions are. Now, they're sending letters to our homes. The union isn't a third party, WE ARE THE UNION. This doesn't scare me. I am voting YES for #uwotc-cwa! #wotcstaff

We are writing to you at home because the decision you will soon make is an important one. It is not just about a workplace election. It is about your voice, your future, and the kind of relationship you want to have with the rest of the Wizards organization moving forward.

On June 2nd, the National Labor Relations board will hold an election. You and your colleagues will decide whether you want the CWA to represent you. We know people may look at this issue differently. Some have shared that they prefer to maintain a direct working relationship with leadership, while others are still gathering information or may feel the CWA could play a role. We respect this. Eliza McLamb had an apt analogy abt modern fandoms: Fans no longer treat creators as creators. Fans treat creators like stock options they’ve invested in; like they’re part owners of a creator’s work just by *being fans*, and therefore get a say in what creators make/how they act. And it sucks.
