This feathered serpent is a potential boss-fight creature design for my ongoing Mesoamerican-fantasy project. Perhaps I'll draw a "corrupted" form in the future.

A #WIP of a mesoamerican tlaloc offering vessel in blender. I took a low quality scan and painstakenly recreated every detail as physical #3d geometry. This took a whole day to get every part of it perfect, and unlike the original artifact its not drooping to one side. #blender #history

Another creature design for my Mesoamerican-fantasy world-building project. This little guy is based on the Techichi dog. 🐕

I was wondering where all the new followers came from, but apparently most are from the Hire Human Artists list, which is of course a great filter (both ways) and something I'm happy to participate in. Anyway, here's some art to keep things alive over here 🌱

A ghostly white head with long hair and a circlet is trapped in a glass jar with a metal, spiky lid tied with chains. The head is screaming with its mouth open wide, while a purple ooze flows from it. The jar is on top of an altar of sorts with runic inscriptions on the steps leading to it. Behind it, a huge, dark creature with long extremities looms over the scene, with its hands surrounding the jar.

Inside a rocky, collapsing cave, a party of three adventurers are facing a massive creature with countless tentacles and a huge mouth with teeth showing. The first adventurer is aiming and arrow towards the creature, their bow ready to shoot; another one, to the right, is leaping forward wielding two daggers; the third one, in the middle of the scene, was caught by one of the tentacles and is being held upside down.

A spiraling white & red composition of a mixture of rock and organic materials, with some sort of face in the middle, framed by the pit it lies in. The land's surface is scarred, dry and wrinkled, and the face looks as though it's twisting and sunken among a mass of fleshy strands. A small -in comparison- character approaches the pit from the bottom left corner.

The focus of the illustration is massive cocoon-like formation made of gnarled branching shapes with a warm, eye-shaped light in the centre. In the foreground, a thick “branch” where a character is standing goes towards the background. The atmosphere is mostly blue and hazy, with some warm light particles floating around.
