From what I recall from some past video essays I've watched... Some form of reincarnation or time loop wherein people who love each other have to make a clear-cut but awful decision in order to end a cycle of abuse/tyranny/fascism. I seem to remember there being LGBT themes. Also cars at some point.

Planning on sending out the invite links to a few friendgroups tomorrow, and anxiety's hitting me hard. This is a huge point I feel I've run into my last few job hunts. I don't really like to lead; I enjoy just helping a project come together. But most non-entry level QA jobs, even ones just marked 'senior', expect a history that includes leading a team. Without that, I'm both over and underqualified.

I tend to enjoy Roguelikes where the story is sort of contained to a single run, but there's more to find if you go 'round again. Risk of Rain 2 is the big one. Inscryption is also good in that there's a breakpoint in the loops once you have a handle on the game.

One of the better building systems in the genre once you get a handle on the controls, a solid RPG skill tree, and enough levers in the world options to play as hardcore or as chill as you want. A strong recommendation from me!

The frustrating part of it for me is that it's ABSOLUTELY a 'for me' game in terms of aesthetics and vibes, but it's once again the time-crunch that pushed me away from Nightreign and PvP on top of that. A damn shame, but I hope the folks that love it have a good time and we get good Zork fanart.

Used to be they were nostalgic because they had the games and IPs you grew up with. Now they're nostalgic because they're only /moderately/ anti-consumer and typically have UI/UX on par with acceptable standards in the early 2000s.

Really it's also problematic that you started reading it, at all. I mean, good on you for stopping when you realized but if you were *really* a good and decent person you would have read reviews first and known not to even buy it in the first place.
