Another fire at Moss Landing. I think this is #4. Yes, there are bad actors against the energy transition but there are also legitimate concerns, i.e. safety and who pays for it. Flattening that all into "permitting reform," ignores real issues. Just because it's green doesn't make it good. 1/

It is scary enough to see a tropical storm grow into an hurricane in real time. The first hurricane in Hawaii since 1992, likely fueled by unusually warm Pacific waters. And while Lala eventually moved, the very real, devastating impacts on communities will last - this story offers a great insight.
