Dark matter may not be as simple as we thought. Our new JWST paper, led by Daniel Gilman, uses 29 quasars, each split into four images by a galaxy's gravity, to hunt for invisible dark matter clumps. They look too dense for standard cold dark matter. 🧵 arxiv.org/abs/2609.35974 ⚛️ 🔭 🧪
