Queens & Western are still in moderate-sized cities unlike a lot of American unis (for comparison, my options for university were either McGill in Montréal, or Bucknell University which is located in a town of 5k residents in a mountainous region of PA).

I remember McGill had fraternities when I attended but I didn't know anyone who joined them. There was a gay fraternity (ie all queer men), idk if that's still around at McGill

I think there are some connections between rural Montana and Alberta. E.g. if you're in northern MT & want to go see a concert then a tour date in Calgary is the only reasonable option. Or depending where you are, Medicine Hat might be the only mid-sized city you can drive to and back in one day.

It's not surprising that he's not forming a coalition. It's rare that coalitions happen in Canada, and Quebec has literally never had one. This alone doesn't mean the government will collapse quickly. But PSPP doesn't strike me as a smooth parliamentarian, and that will be a problem for him.
