I don't love random encounters but, to be fair, I've only beaten a few games that have them (Mother 1, Xenogears) and they're handled very poorly in both. I do fight most enemies I come across in RPGs, random encounters or not, so a lack of EXP isn't something I personally deal with.

Does anyone know how to extract 3d models from #Xenosaga Episode 3 and make them compatible for something like Blender? After 2-3 full days of experimenting, I have no clue anymore. There are people out there that know how it works, but it feels like forbidden knowledge at this point... I'm sad

new zelda looks pretty nice imo but we will have to wait and see how long it takes king zora to move before jumping to any conclusions, we can only hope the switch 2 is strong enough to handle making the cutscene longer

Not to say that the game looks perfect but I think it's annoying that we're repeating the 4 month old Star Fox discourse with Ocarina of Time now, everyone is so boring

#PaperMario #NintendoMusic I was incredibly excited about this, but I've noticed several problems with the soundtrack as is. I send in some feedback through Nintendo's support site on the matter, and I recommend anyone else who notices a problem do the same: support.music.nintendo.com/hc/en-us

I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.

Not gonna lie, sometimes games don’t click for me in the moment, but eventually I enjoy them with the right mindset. I didn’t get Fire Emblem for the longest time but now I‘m obsessed with it, for instance. This is all to say that I don’t think Pokemon will ever click for me

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
