Despite Capcom's amazing IP catalog, I believe their best character writing, storytelling, and music work is in Ace Attorney (and by association Ghost Trick). Until they find a way to make it relevant, regardless of everything else they have going for them, they have failed as a publisher.

You can feel the ambition in Fortune's Weave. Maybe it's a bit too ambitious though. The game takes a while to get going. So far I like Engage more. The series is at its best when it delivers its signature tactics gameplay

I dunno if this comes across as prudish but seeing Sora with a fuckin gun in Fortnite just makes me pine for the days when companies were more obsessive about brand safety & messaging. That character with a gun feels wrong; like it should only exist in a fan mod, not an official product.

Kojima going over budget was well known and one of the reasons Konami dropped him. Sony knew what they signed up for. Goes to show it's not the same company it was a decade ago. ...But also, Kojima has shown a pattern here. That's all I'll say.
