#OTD fire ripped through the 24-story Grenfell Tower in West London on 14 June 2017, killing 71 people. 2 residents, Mariem Elgwahry & Nadia Choucair, were threatened with legal action by the building's management company, KCTMO, after they campaigned for improved fire safety. Both died in the fire.

I prosecute and defend the most serious sexual offences in our courts. The overwhelming majority of offenders are British-born. Overwhelmingly the victim is someone known to them, either a partner or relative. Anybody purporting to care about protecting women might start there.
