Bardstown Road at Dundee Ave/Douglass Blvd. 1941, Louisville, KY. Still today known as Douglass loop, this was the turnaround point for Bardstown Road streetcars that wouldn't be venturing further out of town. This line was eventually extended to Doup's Point and beyond. #LouisvilleTransitHistory

Yes! Image a future where parents put their kids in driverless cars to take them to school while they themselves get in different cars to go to work. Instead of one or two cars chaining trips, now you might have four separate cars making four separate trips. Would be a disaster at scale.
