The camera cut to Katie Britt right after Eric Schmitt’s attack on Jack Smith turned out to be bogus. Schmitt claimed Jack Smith attended an Atlanta Hawks game in Atlanta. However, the texts were actually about the Iowa Hawkeyes playing Maryland in Maryland.

Up close, Lincoln in Dalivision (1977) shows a fiery Christ-like figure. From 20 meters away, it becomes a Lincoln portrait. Dalí's dot-matrix illusion mixes optics and portraiture to show he was still chasing new "technologies" of seeing late in life.

As we await Hungary's election both for the liberation of its people and as portent for our own, let us recall the role that ridicule, resistance and refusal has played. Yes, elections can be turning points but only if movements make them so.

I would think that to serve in the next Congress, that person would have to be elected to it. So, if elections were postponed past January, 2027, the U.S. would have no one in Congress? And roughly 1/3rd of U.S. Senate seats would be vacant?

The Old Town Hall of Amsterdam botfrens.com/collections/216/conten…
Saenredam based this painting on a drawing he had made sixteen years earlier. On the step of the portico, he noted that the dilapidated town hall had in the meantime been destroyed by fire and replaced by a new monumental one (now the Palace on Dam Square). From 1658 this painting hung in the stately chamber
of the mayors in the new Town Hall as a memento of the old building.

This is not a sign that Ukraine is winning the land war, but its an important sign that the doom laden narrative (ukraine has "no cards" Ukraine will collapse) is wrong. Watch out, this narrative is being used to try and convince Europeans that Ukraine must take a terrible deal.

An artist’s impression of a large red star releasing a bright, explosive burst of light. Swirling red and orange patterns surround the star, suggesting intense activity.

In the background, a smaller blue planet appears with a faint, wispy trail extending away from it, indicating its atmosphere being blown off. The scene is set against a dark space backdrop dotted with stars.

Prospect of life on Saturn’s moons rises after discovery of organic substances
Scientists studying water vapour plume from Enceladus find presence of complex molecules that could harbour life The likelihood that one of Saturn’s moons may harbour life has risen, experts say, after finding an array of carbon-based substances being spewed out of Enceladus. The sixth largest of Saturn’s moons, Enceladus has become one of the leading contenders in the search for bodies that could harbour extraterrestrial life, with the Cassini mission – which ended in 2017 – revealing the moon has a plume of water ice grains and vapours erupting from beneath the surface at its south pole. A new paper led by Cody Warner at Berkeley shows that utilities can mitigate wildfire risk much more quickly and cheaply by using dynamic grid management (such as fast-trip switches that very quickly de-energize power lines in response to faults) than by trimming trees or undergrounding lines.

Dynamic grid management reduces wildfire adaptation costs in the electric power sector - Nature Climate Change
Extreme events are increasingly becoming severe risks to the electric grid, yet there is limited understanding of the cost-effectiveness of adaptation investments. This research demonstrates that dynamic grid management could reduce large capital spending and limit wildfire risks in the USA.
