It’s not really a surprise to me, but it’s kind of funny to be reminded about how deeply ingrained some theme songs can be. I haven’t thought about it in a while but hearing them just recite a few lines from the Pokemon theme on Game Grumps and then just hearing the guy belting it out in my head.

Bought myself a little something yesterday. Did I need another guitar? No. Did I need one with 8 strings? Kind of. I was considering just getting a 7 string, but then they had the 8 string version of the same model for not that much more money so I figured screw it. Pretty sick for the price!

At my current job when there’s nothing to do we have to find stuff to do, which means wiping old ink off of shit. Wiping old ink off of shelves is kind of a perfect metaphor for my life and career path, put a bunch of effort in that will go unnoticed making it essentially pointless.

I have a job again (non animation but still) so that means I can spend my tax return on something fun for myself. Which means Switch 2 since I already wanted one and it’s going to apparently get *MORE* expensive later this year so. Looking forward to digging into Mario Kart and Donkey Kong!
