Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha (and most elsewhere) is a car sewer designed by ODOT and Washington County to ostracize, maim, and kill anyone outside of a vehicle.

Suspending the gas tax is the worst sort of "only billionaires should pay taxes" lib slopulism. Tax billionaires until there aren't any, but to have a functioning state the rest of us are going to pay taxes. Lower diesel prices for grocery delivery by banning diesel sales for personal vehicles.

Family of 5 here - I plan a weeks meals, order what I need and can get it all in saddlebags/backpack on my bike. I have also done weekly (sometimes even biweekly) shopping runs by bus, subway, and/or tram. If you can’t where you live, then your government has failed you.

On my morning commute, a person in a loud stinky pickup truck passed me. They were particularly memorable because they had two 55 gallon drums in the back. 5 miles later, I PASSED THEM! Proving once again that biking NB into Portland is faster than driving. This happens over and over again. 🚲🚀👋🏽
