Episode 20: Our Bastard
Listen to Chatter Machine on RedCircle
![Two frames from the most recent AEW Dynamite stacked vertically. One shows Jon Moxley, wearing his signature black jeans and a Death Rider's black longsleeve shirt, holding the back of Will Ospreay's head. Will has the AEW Men's World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder and is barechested and wearing his wrestling tights. The giant AEW screen above the mainstage is split into roughly a 2:1 ration, with the right half showing the AEW Dynamite logo, while the left shows the text of an email exchange between the International Wrestling League (IWL) and Pollyanna, a young woman who was booked by IWL to face Renfrew at an upcoming show. The email states, "Hello Polly, Unfortunately, I've got some bad news. Since announcing your match with Renfrew, there has been a lot of people unhappy about it. Now, I wouldn't normally make any decisions based on other people because I expect everyone to act professionally despite any issues, however, it is now starting to impact the event itself as it would eventually lead to me losing the venue which would be devastating." (IWL would go on to clarify that Resistance Gallery co-owner Garry Vanderhorne had said "Will [Ospreay]'s our boy and feels uncomfortable with you booking Pollyanna." While Ospreay would deny any involvement in this call, his continued support of his friend and colleague Scott Wainwright, who Pollyanna has accused of raping her previously, and his repeated public claims that she was lying would obviously create a chilling effect for her career. Pollyanna retired from wrestling in 2018.) Jon Moxley looks grimly at the screen, while Will's face shows great trepidation.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:occm4i2r4ltv4kwlqoovyeak/bafkreigpter67y33rbl4u2evc72guwvg4fv27gto446cjaanwbpp63hitq)
