Update on the Dreadnought Centurion. Base colors are all blocked out, but I'm getting a bit worried about making the deadline. If I don't make it, I'll still share the final results, of course. #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings

A heavily modified Rogue Trader dreadnought. It has new arms and legs, a custom scenic base, and extra details like a cape and back banner. It's mostly red with green eyes, yellow accents on the arms, legs, and torso, purple and red on the cape, and black weapons and other details. The feet, assault cannon barrels, and a couple of details on the main body are silver.

All from the 90’s when Man o War was current. The minis the shields and banners are from have long since been stripped but I saved some of the fancy stuff, also from the 90’s. My fave shield is the orange brown face, very early GW.

Painted tabletop shields and banners. Lots of skulls so clearly GW. Also red and black ship sails.

Painted dark elf fleet with lots of sea serpents with tiny turrets perched on them. Also huge skull prow floating castle. All painted purple and blue.

Quote post with something old you're proud of. Harboth's Orc Archers were originally released mid-May 1987 - roughly coterminous with my own release into the world. I scored an amazing deal on a complete box of them in 2020, and they're one of my favorite units to look at in my Oldhammer Orc army.

Jumped on blender today to design then print this base adapter movement tray. Grombrindal and pals can now lead my hammerers to war!

A movement tray with slots for 20mm bases to make them 25mm in size, with a special slot for the white dwarf 30th anniversary model to fit in on his 20x40mm base so he takes up a 50mm square

Well, just spent the past hour cleaning up this assorted collection of #Oldhammer and newer #Warhammer figures I've had sitting in a tub of Dettol.

A tray of figures in various states of repair.

Some modern(ish) Chaos Marauders on horse, and some Drastik Plastik Orcs I believe.

More Chaos, including some early 2000's knights, and an assortment of wood, high and dark elves, mostly metal ones.

Some old elves, old human fighters and a couple of Rogue Trader Genestealer Hybrids.

Just looking though old White Dwarf issues and am mildly fascinated by this otherwise pretty clean and crisp land raider that was painted with a part of it leaking and alarming amount of black ooze in a very localised way. It just looks very odd.

#hobbystreak day 1004 Making good Dwarfen progress. The first 10 hammerers are basecoated and starting to get inked. 5 miners are stripped, based and ready to spray, along with the 7th ed 'mining cart'. And as a bonus I've started magnetising my painted dwarfs, so far 30 done!
