Strong smell of lobby copium in a lot of the articles in recent weeks about Badenoch - almost all of them either ignore the Tories are polling at near worst in their history (or at least far worse than when KB took over). That's also her own failure *despite* any rises in her favourability.

The £100k tax loophole is a farce and should be fixed. The Tories making it a key pledge as part of other tax cuts aimed almost solely at higher earners means it's less likely it will be fixed.

The "zionism is racism" motion that has just passed on the Green Party's conference floor is truly gross, and deeply racist. The party's MPs deserve some credit for opposing it, though they should've done so more stridently and sooner. This is now a millstone around the party's necks. Deservedly.
