I do understand: you want permission. There's a machine in the corner wrapped in human skin that makes things out of shit and blood to look like whatever you want (as long as you don't look too closely). You gave one to your teacher and they didn't notice. Your boss told you to use it after they laid off half the team and it was fine. You fed one to your kids and they liked it. You want to know you can use it sometimes without me thinking less of you.
You don't need me to believe it's useful, you just want me to be polite about it.

But I am a hater, and I will not be polite. The machine is disgusting and we should break it. The people who build it are vapid shit-eating cannibals glorifying ignorance. I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself.

Once did a game jam with a Ballet Dancer, since they age out of Ballet real quick there's a progerem to get them a foot in the door of other industries. Met him again almost a decade later at Develop running his own project, so it seemed to work at least.

#Unity question that I'm finding it very hard to google. I have multiple selectable GameObjects and I want to deselect all others when 1 is selected, and also erasilly get the curently selected one. I have a Controller that just has an Event they all subscribe to, but I feel there's a better way

Ran the first session of Eat the Reich this evening. Some highlights were: - Rolling a frag grenade into a lift full of Nazis just as the doors closed - Releasing a pile of Ghosts from a jar so they come up through the floor of a balcony and drain out the would of the soldiers there

Saw a thing recently about someone not liking casinos in RPGs as they were just more rolling dice. And I just finished playing a game of Illimat which is a card game from a fantasy world. Which made me wonder about making an IC game in a campaign and having the players play it as their characters!

“Make art for thirty sickos,” is good advice. “Be somebody’s sicko,” is GREAT advice. “Do both!” is better, still. Being part of a community is amazing. Yes, it takes work. You gotta support people in ways that are kind of labour intensive. Gushing over a buddy’s new thing is one of the best parts.
