Not to bust in with my nerdery on Tudors/Habsburgs but Chinese royalty did not operate like European royalty and weren't as inbred. They (CN imperial dynasties) practiced conspicuous consumption of women and like. A son of a palace maid as long as his father is the emperor or a prince
