I nailed this shit five years ago and yet they won't return my calls

new "the muppets" movie where the whole gang takes a zany road trip to see the ocean and also, every time each muppet appears onscreen, their body carcinizes a little bit more

the format really allows some of the lesser known muppets to shine. because, for example, by the 25 minute mark, kermit is incapable of intelligible speech

in the last twenty minutes or so, the four remaining sapient muppets finally recognize the correlation between screentime and the rate of transformation. they decide to murder the camera crew

the final scene is a close handheld shot of hands (presumably belonging to the sole surviving member of the crew) fumbling with keys, attempting to open the door of a van. the camera drops to the pavement abruptly

the fate of the camera operator is never explicitly stated
