I’ll be honest, I’m super relieved that you guys are excited about this series. It felt like a big stretch. It‘s a lot of dense material, but it’s SO important for understanding the world these figures inhabited, and I’m so grateful that I’ve got an audience that was up for the challenge.

I need a lot of fantasy authors to listen to this episode before worldbuilding their royal courts. The choices available to you are sooooooo much more interesting than the flattened out picture of “single room with people in fancy clothes standing around”.
